Pinguicula jaumavensis is a small, highly localized species of butterwort native to northeastern Mexico, particularly in the Jaumave region of the state of Tamaulipas—hence its name. It’s a gem among Mexican Pinguicula species, known for its compact size, attractive coloration, and adaptation to arid, limestone-rich habitats.
